The work was created as part of a competition that required developing an object using materials from the warehouse of a defunct mining operation to be placed in the Energy Experience Park Zangtal.
For this purpose, a conveyor belt pulley, originally used for coal transport, was chosen. Cut and rewoven to form the lettering BEFĂ–RDERT (transported/promoted), it experienced its transition from a warehouse item to a piece of art.
Ultimately, the object was also transported from the valley to the highest point of the recreational area, lying ever since in close proximity to the ruins of Voitsberg Castle.
